Kwoll Privacy Policy

Kwoll is free and supported by ads. To show ads — and to offer optional online features like leaderboards and achievements — the app and our partners collect a limited amount of data, mainly an advertising identifier and basic device and usage information. Kwoll never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos. You can remove ads with a one-time purchase, and the online features are optional.

Advertising (Google AdMob). Kwoll shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google collects your device's advertising ID, device information (such as model, operating-system version, and language), approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address, and ad-interaction and diagnostic data. Google processes this data as described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. We do not receive your advertising ID.

Google Play Games Services (optional). If you sign in to Google Play Games, Kwoll uses your Play Games player ID and public gamer profile (display name) to show leaderboards, award achievements, and identify your entries. Sign-in is optional — if you don't sign in, Kwoll uses an anonymous device identifier instead, and you can still play the whole game.

Leaderboard (our servers). When you complete the daily puzzle, Kwoll sends your completion time, your streak, and your player ID (your Play Games ID, or an anonymous device ID if you're not signed in) to our leaderboard service so we can rank the global daily race and keep your streak in sync. We do not attach your name, email, or contacts to this.

Purchases. If you buy the remove-ads option or a cosmetic theme, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of what you own so we can unlock it; we do not receive or store your payment details.

Data stored on your device. Your game progress — daily streak, statistics, selected theme, and settings — is saved locally on your device. If you sign in to Google Play Games, some progress may also be backed up to your Google account through Google's services.

• With Google, for advertising (AdMob) and for the optional Google Play Games sign-in, leaderboards, and achievements, as described above.
• With our leaderboard service, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), to run the global daily race and server-synced streak.
• We do not sell your personal information.

• Remove ads. A one-time in-app purchase removes ads from the app.
• Ad personalization. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
• Leaderboards and achievements. These are optional — simply don't sign in to Google Play Games, and Kwoll runs fully with an anonymous identifier.
• Delete your data. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device. To request deletion of the leaderboard and streak data tied to your player ID, email support@twosquared.io.

Data sent to our leaderboard service is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and kept only as long as needed to run the leaderboard and streak features. You can request deletion at any time.

Kwoll is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this policy as the app's features change, and revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
